I can’t believe it’s already the end of May! As cliché as it is, where has the time gone? It feels like just yesterday that we were all celebrating the holidays. Now, all I see are graduation posts from friends and family completing high school and going off to college or graduate school, more specifically medical school. Crazy!

Read MoreAfter 3 years of actively doing PoPPilates, my body finally hit a plateau. My body wasn’t reacting to the workouts as well as it once was, leaving me unmotivated and lazy. Of course, that’s not uncommon when you repeat the same exercises for long periods of time. Your body becomes conditioned to the exercises and it takes even more work to make a difference.

It’s a hard birthday to shop for, not only because he is a hard person to shop for, but also because Christmas is two weeks after his birthday so I never know what to get him for his birthday versus Christmas. He jokes about how I always ask him, “do you want your big gift for your birthday or for Christmas?”

Read MoreWhat a weekend! It was filled with family, friends and food. What's better than that? Not much, in my book. On Friday night J and I went out to eat with my parents whom we haven't seen in a few weeks. On Saturday night I made a new lasagna recipe (coming soon in another post) that is definitely worth sharing, and on Sunday morning our close friends came over for a World Cup watch party.

I don't know what it is lately, but I've been hooked on international films and shows.
