My 5 Most Popular Recipes

Can you believe it's already June?! We are halfway into 2017 and there is still so much I want/ need to accomplish. However, I have worked hard to accomplish many things already.

For one, I've started a new career with my Twin Sis! We are a real estate team with JB Goodwin, REALTORS®. (Click here to learn more about The Cangelosi Team & browse homes for sale and rent in the SATX area.)

Secondly, I've been improving my cook skills left and right. J and I have even successfully made some pretty complicated recipes together, and we've loved every minute of it.

Speaking of recipes, they make up a large part of my blog content and my readers seem to be a-okay with it. I love getting texts, Facebook messages, and comments from those who've tried the recipes I've shared! It makes me feel great that you are 1) reading my blog and 2) are interested enough in what I'm making to make it for your own family! *Honored*.

Interested in knowing what the most popular recipes on my blog are to date? The moment has arrived. Here are the top 5 most viewed recipes on "Live, Laugh, Lighty".

5. Shrimp & Bacon Pasta Bake

Yay! We love this recipe, not only because it's delicious, but because this was one of the first recipes my mother-in-law gave me when J and I started dating. So, I'm very happy you all seem to like it just as much as me.

4. Herb Butter Roasted Chicken

I'm so glad this recipe made this list because it was the first time I've ever worked with a whole chicken before! Shocking, I know, seeing as most of the meals I make contain chicken. In an odd way, it was so much fun rubbing my homemade herb butter on it and watching it crisp up in the oven. Give it a go if you're needing a traditional and classic meal with friends, family, or your honey. Don't forget the sides: Maple Coriander Roasted Carrots & Spring Salad with Creamy Shallot Vinaigrette

3. Chicken Alfredo Bake Penne

This recipe is an often go-to when I can't figure out what to whip up for dinner and our fridge is running low on ingredients. I know I always have the ones I need to make this creamy, delicious, and "even better the next day" meal for us.

2. Oh So Good-O Osso Buco with Risotto Milanese

Oh man! This recipe holds a special place in my heart. It was one of the first major meals J and I made together during one of our "at-home" date nights. We nailed it. NAILED IT! We talked so highly about this to my family that we ended up making this for my dad's birthday this year. Osso Buco is one of his favorite meals ever, so we are happy we did it justice.

1. Bake Ziti

A quintessential Italian-American dish, this meal was a hit when I made it for my in-laws during their last trip to SA. Although it does take some time to make, it's worth the patience!

One thing is evident about these stats- y'all really enjoy baked pasta dishes! Good thing I do, too, so I'll continue to make these yummy dishes.

I do want to acknowledge a few of the runner-up dishes because I do get a lot of feedback on them.

"Honorable Mentions"

Shrimp Scampi Dip

Perfect for parties or poolside snacking!

Slow Cooker Italian Pasta Bean Soup

A great meal to "throw-and-go". Start it in the morning and come back to a light soup for dinner.

Spaghetti with Sausage and Spinach

Cozy and comfortable, this dish brings the greens and the down-home southern flare with the beef sausage to an Italian dish.
