Clinique's Smart Night and Repairwear Anti-Gravity Face and Eye Night Cream

I’m 28 and, although, I still feel young, I can sense my body changing. I can’t help but feel sad about it, if I’m being honest. I never thought I’d feel the changes so quickly, but I am. Particularly in my skin.

The other day I was inspecting my face, as ladies often do in the mornings, and noticed not one, but 2 wrinkles. One in between my eyebrows and one in my smile line by my face, except it looked more like a frown line than a smile line. I yelped out and ran to my husband, stuck my face in his face, and cried out “DO YOU SEE THIS?!” while stabbing at the wrinkles.

Of course, he says he didn’t notice, but I certainly did, and that certainly annoyed me. I do catch myself scrunching my face when trying to concentrate and I guess it’s catching up to me. :’(

I called my mom, whiny and upset and asked her for some product recommendations. I also crowdsourced on Instagram and received some great recommendations from my sister-in-law.

After some research and speaking to a lady at the Clinique counter at Nordstrom’s I settled on Clinique’s Smart Night Cream & the Repairwear Anti-Gravity eye cream. Clinique has been a go-to beauty brand of mine. In fact, it was the first place my mom ever brought us to buy make-up. I know this brand to be gentle enough for my skin and economical for my budget.

Clinique’s Smart Night Cream is said to moisturize while targeting wrinkles, brightens and firms the skin, and “imparts radiance”. The great thing about this product is that they have adjusted the formula to fit different skin types. (Make sure you get the one that fits your skin type the best.) I use the night cream for dry combination skin. I would relate it to a fine film that instantly makes your skin feel dewy and not greasy.

The Repairwear Anti-Gravity eye cream lifts, firms, and helps erase the look of lines around the eyes. I’m using this as a preventative measure since I haven’t noticed any wrinkles or lines around my eyes just yet. Better to start now than try to fix it after the fact.

I’ve been using both night creams for about 2 months now and have noticed a change in my eyebrow wrinkle. Now that the weather is getting colder and the air dryer, I’m loving that it provides extra moisture to my skin, too. Because it desperately needs it right now!

Do you have a favorite(s) nighttime cream? I’d love to hear your suggestions.
